House Republicans from York, Adams and Cumberland Counties Urge Wolf to Allow Construction Workers to Work

HARRISBURG – After hearing from local business owners, construction workers and others, members of the House of Representatives from York, Adams and Cumberland counties joined together to urge Gov. Tom Wolf to allow construction projects to be completed and to allow workers to return to job sites. Previously, Wolf included construction on the list of “non-essential” businesses, which put a halt to construction projects in Pennsylvania. In response, the members, who are House Appropriations Chair Stan Saylor (R-Red Lion) and Reps. Torren Ecker (R-Abbottstown), Dawn Keefer (R-Dillsburg), Kate Klunk (R-Hanover), Dan Moul (R-Gettysburg), Seth Grove (R-Dover), Keith Gillespie (R-Hellam) Barb Gleim (R-Carlisle), Greg Rothman (R-Camp Hill) and Mike Jones (R-York Township) issued the following statement:

Rothman Announces $28,667 for Creek Road Kayak Launch in Camp Hill

HARRISBURG – Rep. Greg Rothman (R-Cumberland) today announced that the Borough of Camp Hill has been awarded $28,667 in Boating Facility Grant funding by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) for improvements to their Creek Road kayak launch along the Conodoguinet Creek.

Rothman Announces $400,000 Grant for Silver Spring Township, $600,000 Grant for Hampden Terminal II

HARRISBURG –Rep. Greg Rothman (R-Cumberland) today announced that the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) has awarded a $400,000 grant to Silver Spring Township through the Multimodal Transportation Fund Program to improve the intersections at Silver Spring Road and Woods Drive, located in Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County. The grant will also assist with stormwater improvements.

Rothman Says East Pennsboro Township to Receive $500,000 PENNVEST Loan

HARRISBURG – Rep. Greg Rothman (R-Cumberland) announced today that East Pennsboro Township Authority was awarded a $500,000 Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) loan to cover the cost of a municipal authority non-point source project. Non-point source water pollution includes pollution from diffused sources including runoff from farms, managed forests and urban areas. Such pollution may be caused by snowmelt and rainfall runoff.

Rothman Applauds New Services at Cumberland County VA Clinic

Greg Rothman (R-Cumberland) today expressed his support and excitement for increased care options being offered at the Lebanon VA Medical Center’s (VAMC) Cumberland County VA Clinic, located at 5070 Ritter Road. Rothman Introduces Legislation to Curb Youth E-Cigarette Epidemic

Rothman Issues Statement on Passage of 2019-20 Budget

State Delegation Backs Joyce's Call For Pennsylvania National Guard Troops To Provide Assistance At Southern Border

HARRISBURG, PA – State lawmakers from Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District today joined together to support their Congressman in his effort to make Pennsylvania’s National Guard available to address the crisis on the southern border. Congressman John Joyce (PA-13) last week led a group of four other Pennsylvania Congressmen in a letter to Governor Wolf making the request. Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) , Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11), Rep. Scott Perry (PA-10), and Rep. Mike Kelly (PA-16) joined Joyce on the letter.
